After a first successful collaboration in 2022, during the Route du Rhum, the DÉKUPLE Group announces the renewal and strengthening of its partnership with skipper William Mathelin-Moreaux.
After a fine performance in the Route du Rhum – 16th out of 55 competitors in the Class 40 – the partnership will be extended to four races throughout the year, including the famous Transat Jacques Vabre in October.
Within the framework of this partnership, 2023 will be marked by new “employer brand” operations in order to get the more than 1,000 employees involved in the adventure: in addition to the various internal challenges, CONVERTEO teams will contribute to improving the boat’s performance using data. BRAINSONIC has organized a training session for MidJourney employees to promote the new racing season in an innovative way on social networks, using images generated by artificial intelligence. In addition, thanks to William Mathelin-Moreaux, DÉKUPLE’s relationship with the Perce-Neige Foundation will lead to several support actions.
A RENEWED AND STRENGTHENED PARTNERSHIP
The DÉKUPLE Group and William Mathelin-Moreaux are in perfect harmony around common values: the spirit of conquest, respect and mutual support. The collaboration that began in June 2022 has kept all its promises – in particular, it has increased the visibility of the DÉKUPLE brand – and the continuation of the adventure was an obvious choice for the young skipper and the major player in data marketing.
Right from the start of the partnership, the Group’s employees were highly motivated to take part in sponsorship promotion activities. This enthusiasm resulted in the mobilization of about 20% of the employees in thematic working groups and various events that brought the partnership to life throughout the year.
On the strength of this support, DÉKUPLE is renewing the working groups and increasing the teams’ contribution to the partnership.
Consultants from CONVERTEO, the DÉKUPLE Group’s pure player data consulting firm, will analyze the data on boat performance: they will establish the boat’s maximum speed chart according to its speed and wind angle, and the preferred use of the type of sail according to the conditions (wind speed and angle), and will be able to introduce new decision-making parameters.
In addition, the various events will be repeated during the races and DÉKUPLE is already implementing a new feature with the contribution of BRAINSONIC, the Group’s marketing engagement agency. Thanks to the implementation of a training session at MidJourney for all employees, they will be able to practice creating the best image generated by artificial intelligence to promote the 2023 race program on social networks. The authors of the best illustrations will be rewarded with gifts related to the photo.
The start of this partnership in 2022 has been a great success! Beyond the financial support, I really felt the support of the employees who invested themselves during the conferences, the contests, the videos or the visits to the Route du Rhum Village in Saint-Malo, all in record time! The longevity of a partnership is important. Everything went so fast last year that I had to be able to extend the experience. In my humble capacity, I am very happy to have enabled the Group to initiate a relationship with the Perce-Neige Foundation that is close to our hearts.
This year, I will also be able to count on the presence of Pietro Luciani at my side to carry out double-handed races. I am joining forces with a skipper whose skills will allow me to progress. We are complementary and we are aiming for performance together
