Digital marketing activities maintain their strong growth: +28%.

Paris, February 27, 2023 (9:00 a.m.) – The DÉKUPLE Group, an expert in cross-channel data marketing, has announced annual revenues of €181.2 million for the year 2022, representing growth of 10.3% compared to 2021. Its digital marketing activities are maintaining their strong growth with revenues up 28% compared to the previous year.

Bertrand Laurioz, Chairman and CEO, said: “After a very strong year in 2021 (+17.9%), the DÉKUPLE Group recorded a further significant increase in sales in 2022 (+10.3%) in a tense economic and geopolitical environment.

Our Digital Marketing activities – up 28% – now represent more than half of our annual revenues (52.5%), compared to 45.3% the previous year. The continuation of their strong growth dynamic is based on the continued expansion of our Consulting activities, as well as on the extension of the scope of our Agencies and Marketing Solutions activities with, in particular, the full contribution over the entire financial year of the Reech agency, a leader in influencer marketing, and the integration since September 2022 of Brainsonic, a leading communications agency in the field of engagement.

Our portfolio activities recorded contrasting performances in an unfavorable economic climate marked by high inflation and its impact on purchasing power. On the one hand, our Magazines business – down -6.0% – suffered from a cyclical decline in the recruitment of new subscribers due to the decline in the purchasing power of the French. On the other hand, our Insurance brokerage business – up +15% – was driven by the successful development of our supplementary health insurance offer and the integration of the AssurTech Qape – KOVERS assets acquired in November 2021.

In these uncertain times, these developments testify to the relevance of our development strategy, based on our diversified multi-entrepreneur model, to ensure the success of DÉKUPLE. We are committed to seizing key market opportunities around data and digital, and we focus on technology, innovation and excellence to continue our growth.

We are approaching 2023 with determination, continuing to build relationships with innovative companies, as illustrated by the January acquisition of Smart Traffik, a publisher of web-to-Store solutions in SAAS mode for retail networks, and by strengthening our teams of experts, which now number more than 1,000 employees.

On the strength of our solid fundamentals, we are confident that we will achieve our strategic plan “Ambition 2025”, which aims to become a leader in data marketing in Europe.

1- Revenues (which are determined on the basis of the French status of press commissionaire for subscription sales) only take into account the amount of remuneration paid by press publishers; in the case of subscription sales, revenues therefore correspond in reality to a gross margin, since the cost of magazines sold is deducted from the amount of sales received. In the case of acquisition and management fees relating to the sale of insurance contracts, revenues include fees issued and to be issued, earned at the balance sheet date, net of cancellations.

2- For digital marketing activities, gross margin represents all revenues (total invoices issued: fees, commissions and purchases rebilled to clients) less all external purchasing costs incurred on behalf of clients. It is equal to revenues for the following activities
